So I had a fun day of constructing and deconstructing and constructing and... So I went to Fry's yesterday and got a bunch of computer parts. I got a new motherboard, a new processor, a new 1.5 tb hdd, a new case, new ram, and later I got something to where I should be able to watch stuff from my computer on my HDTV. After almost completely putting the computer together (because power should be the last thing connected, right?) I realize that I have a power supply with a 20 pin Jack instead of the new 24 pin jacks... I went back up to Fry's and was able to get a cheap adapter for my power supply. End of the story right? HAHA! Not likely in one of my stories. After I completely got it together I find out the hard way that they gave me a processor that is incompatible with my motherboard... Okay, time to break everything down and repackage the mb and CPU. So I run up to Fry's again and exchange the motherboard for one that will work with the CPU. Motherboard shopping isn't easy either. Everybody has a specific amount of pci cards and my pci-e card takes up 2 slots so I really can't get a micro atx board because I lose 1 pci slot that I need. Anyways I get back home finally and get her in 1 piece and there is a problem with the IDE cable that I bought... That's okay I have leftovers, I just wanted a longer one (that's what she said) so I had more room because it barely reaches both drives. I am up and running now, and I doubt I will have any more problems, but that tv thing seems stupid. Not quite what I was expecting. I will probably take it back on Wednesday if I can't figure out how to make it do what I want. Anyways, long day for me tomorrow and then another 2 days off =D so happy!

I also have an ominos blue glow at night from inside the case (I got a case with a lot of case fans... One huge one on top and one huge one in the back and a spot for a huge one on the side that I plan utilizing. My current case fans won\'t fit in the spots that this case has designed for them...). So far everything on the computer is working beautifully. I do, however, need to hook up my old IDE hard drive and get all of my 150 or so gigs of music off of it (which will take forever =*(). I need to download a trial or something of one of the newest games to hit the shelves so I can benchmark it. I like to know where my computer stands with that kind of stuff. It hasn\'t even hiccuped with max graphics on L4D 2. Anyways, off to bed. I have to go see Flogging Molly tomorrow =D!
